With eye-candy art, a robust roadmap, an expert team, and key partnerships already in place, this zombie-filled collection may not only rise from the dead but also rise as one of the best projects in the Aptos ecosystem.

What is Aptos Undead?
Aptos Undead is a non-fungible (NFT) collection of 4,444 3D zombies on the Aptos blockchain. It will be minted on November 15, 2022, at the Topaz marketplace at a floor price of 1.44 $APT. The team will soon announce the time of the mint.
While you can use any Aptos-based wallet, the team recommends using a Martian wallet for its minting event. (The collection will be on the wallet’s new sneaker feature).
The project draws inspiration from the 3D art of Degen Ape Academy, which is currently one of Solana’s premium collections to date. Apart from owning an NFT zombie, holders can also access the collections’ many features, including its upcoming interactive games, directly from their browsers.
To integrate more exciting features into its collection, the team has applied for the sought-after Aptos Grant program and vowed to use the proceeds to speed up the project’s development. The foundation is yet to approve the team’s request.

Meet the Aptos Undead Team
@bonehead_apt serves as the founder of the Aptos Undead project and previously worked at Rovio, the company that created the extremely popular Angry Birds mobile game. He also has 10+ years of experience in the gaming industry.
This experience can potentially catapult Aptos Undead’s games to new heights and may integrate some of Angry Bird’s fun, entertaining, and addictive features.
The core team also includes @Jay.sol and @Carbonated. Jay.sol has experience as a venture capitalist (VC) analyst and business development lead. Carbonated, meanwhile, is an expert moderator, marketing, and community manager and has already worked on different web3-based projects.
Gaming Plans
The team will soon release mini-games and community-wide competitions to make its ecosystem more exciting and worthwhile for both supporters and holders. It also intends to combine the successful elements of The Sims and Club Penguin into their games to make them as interactive as possible.

Moreover, Aptos Undead will soon roll out an in-game currency that would allow players to purchase traits, items, and upgrades for their virtual characters.
On top of that, the project may also introduce a customizable virtual space for players, giving another level of personalization to their experience.
Indeed, these things would be challenging tasks, and the Undead team itself admits that it may take some time to hit these goals.

The team has successfully launched Aptos Undead’s virtual presence on the project’s website and social media accounts. It has also struck key partnerships with Topaz marketplace and Martian wallet before its minting event.
Next, it aims to launch its NFT collection, offer premium perks and tiers for holders, and roll out a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
Beware of Scams
Please do remember that scammers are also excited and enthusiastic about minting events ー but for the wrong and awful reasons. In its latest announcement, the team clarified that it won’t be conducting any airdrop (at least for now) and won’t send any direct messages (DM) to anyone.
