The Trippin’ Ape Tribe (TAT) appears to be building nonstop even on its #TribeTakeoverWeek, boasting three-dimensional (3D) metaverse renders and launching augmented reality (AR) filters for the community to enjoy thanks to its latest partnership with FunGuyz Studios and Time Thief.
As of the 28th of July, TAT has already provided a teaser of Trippin’ Ape NFTs in 3D and profile pictures (PFPs) in AR filters, giving a 3D touch to the project and experience for the Tribe.
TAT Reveals 3D Trippin’ Ape and AR Filters
The Tribe Takeover Week, now on its fourth day, is great timing for TAT to announce its collaboration with FunGuyz Studios, which will bring TAT holders to the metaverse in full 3D. Three currently made prototypes, which showcase three accurate renders of Trippin’ Apes with different bodies and traits, are revealed on TAT’s Discord channel and Twitter.
TAT’s partnership with AR and 3D model service provider Time Thief now enables anyone to use four different Trippin’ Ape Snapchat filters: Purple Drip, Eyeball, Blue Drip, and Orange Juice. As hinted by TAT, the Tribe (holders) can use these filters for tomorrow’s contest: Touching grass, where the tribe posts selfies while outside in continuation of the Tribe Takeover Week. The team also announced that Instagram versions of these filters would be coming out soon.
Chorles’ Surprise
The 3D Trippin’ Ape NFTs are only a part of Chorles’ bigger plans for the Tribe, and there are many more initiatives in the future. One of the hints revealed is an uncolored 3D environment, which indicates that the project is likely in the early stages. The area shows a few clues: multiple trees, stones, and a piece of board in the middle. Other than that, the team hasn’t revealed much information.
