FrankDeGods, one of the most reputable project runners in the Solana NFT ecosystem, is making another big move towards creating a valuable community by sharing his ideal of the best “types” of holders for his Duppies NFTs scholarship.

The team has been successful in running its first NFT project, DeGods, which has garnered more than 103K Twitter followers and bluechip status. Now, FrankDeGods and his team are launching a new collection called “Duppies”, which will be a 100% whitelist mint.
Duppies is by far one of the most anticipated NFT mints for a couple of months since press time.
How to Win the Duppies NFTs Scholarship
FrankDeGods recently shared on Twitter what is essentially an alpha leak: the best types of holders, which he hints, will be chosen for the Duppies NFTs scholarship.
“The @DuppiesNFT Scholarship application will not be a charity,” he states, adding that the goal is to assemble the “MVP” NFT community on any blockchain.
He went on to share a list of his most ideal community members.
- Builders, the types of people Frank has been most bullish on, are on top of the list, which consists of founders, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs.
- Content Creators, including podcasters, Twitter thread writers, bloggers, vloggers, came second thanks to their contributing power in bringing awareness to projects.
- Third are the artists, which include singers, illustrators, filmmakers, etc.
The rest include meme creators, ambassadors, analysts/alpha callers, web3 salarymen, influential people, 24/7 contributors, etc. These are the types of individuals that will be likely chosen for the scholarship program, which will be rewarded with an auto whitelist for Duppies and possibly a free mint.
The outcome of the shared concept may either become a flop or bring light to a new NFT meta. Thus, the team encourages the community to hop in and share their insights for its improvement.
While the community actively engages with the newly-posted announcement, FrankDeGods shares that the scholarship application will enable selected scholars to connect their wallets. The team plans to integrate Phantom and Metamask, but all are still in progress as building a cross-chain community is the ultimate plan.
Whitelist Requirements for Duppies
Duppies announced that it would be a 100% whitelist mint with four estimated allocations:
- 9,500 spots for DeadGod holders
- 3,500 spots for scholarships
- 1,500 spots for DAO $DUST Pool
- 500 spots for retracted
Note that these figures are still subject to change.
Every DeadGod holder is eligible to mint one Duppie through the whitelist. On the other hand, the Duppies whitelist $DUST pool already went live last June 2022. It currently displays the approved DAOs with their corresponding contributions and whitelist spots. The participants who joined but did not get any spots were added to the raffle pool.
Lastly, the Duppies project team introduced scholarships considering the feedback from its community. It hinted that having 375 $DUST will be helpful in getting a scholarship, but it’s not required.
Minting Dupdate
Duppies announced that its tentative mint date was on the 15th of July, but the team changed it to either the end of July or the beginning of August. However, it is still subject to changes as the team collects feedback on this matter. Although it is not finalized yet, its concept is already clear.
The collection size of Duppies NFTs is 15,000 units with a mint price of 375 $DUST. The team also declared that it would not sell any $DUST from the mint.
